What are the causes and symptoms of Asherman´s syndrome?

Asherman’s syndrome can be caused by any intrauterine surgery, such as dilatation and curettage; the use of IUD birth control devices may also cause this condition. It can occur as a result of inflammatory diseases, changes in hormonal homeostasis, medical procedures and operations associated with trauma to the basal layer of the endometrium.
